SMART HOME SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY
For smart home, there are wiring and wireless system. Our experts will conduct a survey and advise you on the best solution for your home.
Z WAVE TECHNOLOGY
The Z-Wave protocol is an interoperable, wireless, RF-based communications technology designed specifically for control, monitoring and status reading applications in residential and light commercial environments. Mature, proven and broadly deployed (with over 100 million products sold worldwide), Z-Wave is by far the world market leader in wireless control, bringing affordable, reliable and easy-to-use ‘smart’ products to many millions of people in every aspect of daily life.
More than 2,400 certified, interoperable Z-Wave devices are available from the thriving Z-Wave Alliance of more than 700 manufacturers and service providers worldwide.
Z-Wave Technology Essentials:
– Low Powered RF communications technology that supports full mesh networks without the need for a coordinator node
– Operates in the sub-1GHz band; impervious to interference from Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies in the 2.4-GHz range
– Full interoperability through layer 6 with backward compatibility to all versions. – Successfully bridged and trialed with OpenADR, SEP 1, SEP 1.1 and other Smart Energy protocols.
– Shares the same position in the NIST / SGIP Catalog of Standards as the IEEE 802.11 and 802.15 and 802.16 families
KNX TECHNOLOGY
An intelligent solution for the electrical
installation of building technology
KNX is an open standard (see EN 50090, ISO/IEC 14543) for home automation and building automation that describes how sensors and actors in a KNX system communicate.
KNX Association was fonded in May 1999 by members of the following associations founded KNX Association
cvba: EIBA ( European Installation Bus Association) @ Belgium
EHSA (European Home Systems Association) @ Netherland
BCI (BatiBUS Club International) @France
The Association is the owner of the Worldwide STANDARD for Home and Building Control: KNX and also the owner of the KNX trademark logo worldwide. KNX Association is a non-profit-oriented organisation governed by Belgian Law.
Members are manufacturers developing devices for several applications for home and building control based on KNX like lighting control, shutter control, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, energy management, metering, monitoring, alarm/intrusion systems, household appliances, audio/video and lots more. Next to manufacturers also service providers (utilities, telecom, …) can become a member of the KNX Association.
Currently, KNX Association has more than 470 members, accounting for more than 80% of the home and building control devices sold in Europe. As common goal, these companies promote the development of building installation systems in general and KNX as the world’s only open STANDARD for home and building control. Worldwide KNX Association has partnership agreements with more than 83.000 installer companies in 190 countries, more than 100 technical universities as well as over 470 training centres.
